Been using this brand for a long time with satisfaction. No fishy aftertaste, which is welcome, especially in the morning when I administer the product! I guess currently the "jury's out" on the benefits of fish-oil supplements, as is true for much of the supplemental vitamin world, but I'll keep taking them until I hear/read differently. They certainly are NOT harming me!

I came to drugstore.com to purchase a new supply of 1000mg omega-3 softgels. The ones I had purchased previously were no longer available, but I saw this, marked "GNC Fish Oil 1000" and ordered them without reading down to the smaller print. That would have shown me that these are only 300mg softgels. I have no idea what the "1000" refers to. In order for me to get the dosage recommended by my doctor--two 1000mg tablets twice a day--I will have to take over 13 of these huge things every day. I can't afford to throw these away and replace them. I admit I should have been more careful, but I also believe that the label is very easily misread, and at least the "1000" shouldn't be there if it doesn't mean anything.

When product arrived, capsules were stuck together in the bottle forming a big ball. Some come apart if you shake the bottle, others have to be picked off the wad. May have gotten to hot in shipment, but never-the-less, I probably will not order these again.

Have to take 3 capsules for 1000mg, not one.will limit my drugstore.com use for misleading customers.

This is a very good value. You get a years worth and they work as well as name brand that costs 3 times as much. Good Deal
