I saw a nobel prize winning heart specialist on TV and he recommended two products (supplements) L-Arginine and L-Cystene for heart health. He also swore by statin drugs as being one of the best discoveries in heart health medicine and said he takes a statin even though he does not have heart problems. I would not tell anyone to take any medication of supplement or even recommend it. I would just ask them to look into a product and consult their doctor as well.
