I was taking NAC 600 for 3 months for tric. It really to help with my pulling. Ran out. Was off Nac 600 for 1 month and very obvious the supliment was helping me. Need to stick with it and be patient. Doctor had put me on welbutrin and naltrexone and it did nothing for me. Researched the web and found people using Nac 600. I recomend giving it a try as hair pulling is very frustrating. I took 1 capsule am and 1 pm daily. Clerk recommended i take fish oil with it. If needed or not, i dont know but it is good for you anyway.

I've been taking these for about 3 weeks, and do not notice any changes at all. Everything I"ve read said most users will notice diminished symptoms of compulsive hair pulling type syndrome, but I haven't seen any changes at all. Usually, with the power of suggestion alone I can change a behavior, but I see no change even with these pills. Maybe it needs more time.

Recent research suggests a dose of 1200 to 2400 mg a day helps with trichotillomania. Just started using it and we'll see.
