I take this product every morning and it has stopped my neck and shoulder pain. Love that! It also helps with positive moods. I have a food allergen to fructose and other FODMAPs and cannot digest Inulin...this is the only Sam-e product that does not contain Inulin that I have found.

I started taking this in October 2011 2 a day for 2 weeks probably should have taken 2 a day for 1 month, because I started feeling the effects by mid December. My mood is better and I don't feel as stiff as I use to and I'm 58 so there should be some stiffness. I wish I had this about 5 years ago. I'm very impressed with this product.
In a word...awful! Don't get me wrong. Sam-E is fantastic. But this brand is not a good one. I had been using Jarrow 400mg and getting a very positive experience, so I figured this would be the same. Not! What I now know is that Sam-E has to be carefully processed to maintain a high potency. I had to take TWO of these to get the same effect of the Jarrow brand! I love drugstore.com, but you'll have to look elsewhere to find Sam-E that works!
I get annoyed very easily by everything around me, I've tried other mood inhancing drugs and nothing seemed to work until I found these awesome pills, they're a little big to swallow, but they have no side effects, leaves no nasty taste in my mouth, and best of all they really do work! I'm much more laid back, and it seems like I'm allways laughing.
These seem to work really well. I take one at the breakfast and do seem to be having a better mood/energy during the work day, which is a great help in the high-stress and demanding environment I deal with. However, after about 10 hours I do tend to experience a crash. Nothing bad, just feeling kind of mellowed out. That's why 4, not 5 stars.
Take one tablet in the morning for one week. If after the first week the desired benefits are not achieved, then you may require a higher level of supplementation. Gradually increase the number of tablets up to 4 tablets in divided doses of two tablets (800 mg) throughout the day until benefits are achieved. Do not exceed four tablets daily.
