I had my first and only gout attack 14 years ago. Besides taking a daily prescription drug, my physician wanted me to drink three (3) 8 oz glasses of Black Cherry Juice each day. The only reliable juice that I could find at the market was a 24 oz bottle that cost almost $9.00. So I came to GNC and started with this product. I have taken one capsule in the morning and one in the evening for all this time. It seems to have worked along with my prescription drug. Also, every time I get a chance around harvest I hog down the deep red cherries like candy. I also, when I can find them, get the dried dark cherries which I use in my baking. This is a very good product from GNC.

If "Water" is the main ingredient, how can this preparation possibly be therapeutic ? Maybe the placebo effect!

Definately helps! Used to have to take a pain pill 1/2 hour before getting out of bed ... now get right up without aching from arthritis. Not a cure all but definately helps!

Using this supplement along with pure, tart cherry juice helps prevent episodes of gout, to which I have become very susceptible. I used to just drink a small cup of cherry juice but over time my susceptibility to this painful condition got worse. Pure cherry juice is very expensive, but cheaper than prescription meds and less harmful to the body. With these capsules, I don't have to consume as much cherry juice. Now I only have episodes when I begin to neglect taking my capsules and juice.

I bought these Black Cherry Concentrate capsules for my son who was experiencing gout pain so bad that it was interfering with his ability to work. Almost immediately he started experiencing relief from the pain and the swelling. He started out taking two capsules at morning and again at night, but now that he has the symptoms under control, he is able to take only one capsule morning and night. This is not a cure but it does do an effective job of relieving the symptoms and keeping the gout under control. I recommend this product very highly.

The last 2 weeks of January were horrible. I had bad gout in both feet and my left knee. Traditional medicines weren't working. I turned to the internet for a natural relief.
