I love this blender bottle. Got it last year on sale that a friend told me about. The previous review stated that the white top had to be held down to keep it closed. I don't have that problem. The white part clicks when it's closed securely. It is a bit hard to close, but I just turn it upside down on my kitchen counter and press down, until it clicks. I put liquid in first, then my protein powder, and shake it up. Then open the white lid and pour out into a cup. The blender ball inside does a great job of mixing ingredients - unless you put the powder in before the liquid, then it's not so great. Once you've poured your drink and emptied this bottle, just put some warm or hot water in and shake up, then rinse, no need to use soap if you rinse it immediately. Easy clean up.

I have a couple other blender bottles much like this one. However, while they appear to be the same design, the white flip top on those clicks and you know it is closed. With this one, it doesn't seem to fit properly, so you need to hold it shut when you shake it and it isn't any good to take to the gym where it might spill.
