Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I take one capsule daily with my other medications. I started taking this to help with PMS symptoms. It helped me most by preventing acne breakouts associated with hormonal changes during my cycle. Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I suffer from chronic breast pain and very fibrous hard breast tissue. I heard that evening primrose oil, kelp with iodine, and a comfy bra would help so I purchased all of the above. I've been using them for about 3 weeks and it only took a few days before I felt a huge difference. There are actually moments where my breasts aren't hurting and I haven't had that lack of pain in almost 2 years! I'm glad I got this huge container so they'd last a while :) Huge fan of this stuff. Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I use primrose daily. I am at the age where my skin is thinning and I have noticed that this helps with that. I have gone without for a month or so and noticed my thinning skin is worse without the evening primrose. Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: My doctor suggested this for PMS and peri-menopause. I don't know yet how well it works, since I have only taken it for a week. Although the softgels are big, they seem to slide down fairly easily. Although there is a strong smell when sniffing the entire jar, the individual softgels have no smell or taste.[...] Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I am taking these pills to aid in my PMS suffering. They really seem to be working. The only con is their size. They are quite large gel capsules that I struggle swallowing everyday. I have not seen much of a change in skin but I definitely think they are saving my marriage from out of control PMS :-) Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I have been suffering irregular monthly cycle for almost 2 years. I have tried the other natural medicines but nothing worked. By taking this product for 5 months (daily) I am so glad to find the real result. Now my period is very regular! I would keep taking it and definite recommend to other women! Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Evening Primrose Oil 1300, Softgel Capsules, 180 ea: I began taking this product after my doctor recommended them for post menopausal breast tenderness, which I was very glad to hear was NOT cancer. I was skeptical at first and reluctant to try any kind of herbal medicine as I believe my body will heal itself naturally. But having already given up caffeine and chocolate and getting little relief, I ordered a bottle and began taking two a day (one in the morning and one at night) about two weeks ago. Within a week I was sleeping better, able to fall asleep and stay asleep. The tenderness in my breasts doesn't wake me up like it used to. Not all the pain is gone but enough for me to say this product definitely works. I read on the Internet that it takes up to 4 months for this herbal to become completely effective, so I continue to take them. A side benefit of taking night primrose is calmness and I do feel like I am a bit more calm, now able to switch off my thoughts and go to sleep more quickly. I had largely gotten over the menopausal hot flashes/power surges but I was still experiencing a few at night. I believe they have decreased in frequency, helping me to stay asleep instead of waking up to toss back the covers, then later having to drag them up again. I take heart medicine and the active ingredient does not override the effectiveness of that drug which is a problem with some other menopausal herbals like black cohosh. The only problem I can see with these soft gels is that they are huge. They would be difficult to swallow if you easily choke on large pills. I would recommend this product as an aid to post menopausal symptoms. ![]() |
