I use it year round (in the summer at bedtime and during the winter after I shower, under my socks.) It really does what it claims. It is only greasy/heavy if you apply it very liberally (as I sometimes do to deep condition) but I always put on socks over it so that's not a problem for me. However, having the very tough feet that I do, this cream's softening power is mediocre, and not as dramatic in softening as I would have liked. I have found better results with emu oil. Unfortunately I always forget to when bathing. Within 1 day of using this I can feel the difference, the dry dead skin has just disappeared and my feet feel soothed after applying. I bought one tube for my mom and I to share but looks like I'll be buying another one very soon.
