Most Liked Positive Review LOOKING FOR HUGE ITCH RELIEF, THIS IS IT I've tried itch relieving lotions from Aveeno & Lubriderm. They may be effective for mild itch relief but they don't come close to the instant relief I got from Gold Bond Medicated Extra Strength! This year is the first I've suffered all over skin breaking winter itch. If it continues or comes back I'll only buy Gold Bond Medicated Extra Strength from now on. When I first applied it to my baby, she would cry a little cause it burned. I figured out that if I rub it in good, she doesn't complain. I didn't like how it felt after I had put it all over my body. It has a cooling sensation and it just felt weird to me. But it is definitely effective! I work outside and in the hot summer months I sweat. The sweat exacerbates the chaffing and the problem gets worse. When I tried this product, I had tried many others wiith less than positive results. I was desperate. When I first applied it, I have to admit, it stung because my skin was almost raw. But that subsided quickly and the immediate relief and cooling effect took over. It also helped heal the chaffed skin. I wouldn't be without it! Nothing they gave me helped. I saw the ad on TV for this product and decided to try it. Surprisingly, it worked, although only for a few hours, but it keeps me from scratching and bleeding constantly. I was covered in scabs.
