I use this loction when every I have real dry skin and need something that actually works. This does the trick. After it is applied you get a kind of cool tingling feeling. Could never seem to find this size in any store- and believe you me I have looked each time I go in one. So you can't beat the price as the smaller ones I do find are the same pricing as this larger one.

Along with the Colorado altitude comes a lot of dryness...all year round, and I wouldn't be without this in the medicine cabinet. When an annoying itch or rash appears (for whatever reason), after just one application the affected area is quickly soothed. This lotion initially numbs a red, irritated or painful area of skin. After 2-3 applications it is well on its way to being healed. I have even applied this all around the nose and eyes with great success. There has not been any burning or adverse side affects after using.

This lotion may be better for adults, but my 3 1/2 year old has terrible eczema and I decided to try this lotion since the Gold Bond Lotion I usually use on him was not available that day. This lotion has lots of MENTHOL and it burned really bad. He was crying and begging me to wash it off. So, I did and he was ok… It made his skin a bit more irritated. Anyway, this lotion may be better used for something else, but don't use it on above average skin irritations if you have a young child... it has way to much menthol in it.

I bought this product hoping it would help my 2 yr old daughter's bad eczema problem and my dry skin. When I first applied it to my baby, she would cry a little cause it burned. I figured out that if I rub it in good, she doesn't complain. I didn't like how it felt after I had put it all over my body. It has a cooling sensation and it just felt weird to me. But it is definitely effective! Her eczema is the closest to gone since she's had it! Honestly, I wish I had tried the non-mentholated one first.

i used it on my legs and a little while after putting on it feels like icy hot that cool feeling doesnt burn or anything but im not sure if it supose to do that feels weird but works as far as lotion.

I have found this product to be amazingly effective in relieving the very painful burning of chaffed skin in my crotch area. I work outside and in the hot summer months I sweat. The sweat exacerbates the chaffing and the problem gets worse. When I tried this product, I had tried many others wiith less than positive results. I was desperate. When I first applied it, I have to admit, it stung because my skin was almost raw. But that subsided quickly and the immediate relief and cooling effect took over. It also helped heal the chaffed skin. I wouldn't be without it!

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter to help with winter dry itch. It does work, but the smell is obtrusive. Not obnoxious but it is definitely a put-off. If you don't care about the smell - give it a try!
