This is my all-time favorite body moisturizer - and I'm a skin/hair product junkie! It's effective at softening cracked winter heels, but not too heavy to use all over. This is heavy-duty stuff, but it absorbs well. I have keratosis pilaris (also known as "chicken skin"!) bumps on my upper arms, and this moisturizer goes a long way towards getting rid of the red, rough look. I've used this on my lips, flyaway hair, blisters from ill-fitting shoes, and my daughter's eczema, all with great success! I keep a travel-size tube in my purse for hands/cuticles at all times - it's replaced my Bliss High-Intensity Hand Cream at 1/4 the cost. Love it. Note on product comparison: I also like Gold Bond Ultimate Soothing lotion, though it's slightly less effective on heels.

Just as the packaging indicates, this lotion is non-greasy, has almost no scent, and actually DOES moisturize without repeated applications or mess. I don't feel like I'm applying or wearing a lotion, but my skin is softened and moisturized like never before with any other product. Gold Bond should never stop making these products, because they really have figured out how to combine all elements into the perfect hand/body lotion.

This lotion absorbs faster than any other lotion I have used, and isn't greasy at all. It also has a great scent--not overpowering or sickly-sweet.

My cousin is a swim coach/instructor and spends a great deal of time in chlorinated water during the summer. She used to get severe cracks on her feet. They would bleed often. She tried very expensive creams to try to heal her feet, to no avail. Then she tried some of my mother's Gold Bond. It works magic. She is now able to get through the summers with little to no pain or cracking on her heels. She slathers it on at night and puts socks on over it to sleep. Keeps her skin super soft.

Also great during winters. INSTANTLY makes my hands, elbows, etc, feel 10x better and softer. I have a bottle everywhere- desk, center console of car, nightstand, bathroom...

I might use other lotions occasionally for other purposes (i.e. a sesame oil blend or lavender scented lotion), but Gold Bond will forever be the lotion I rely on to keep my skin soft.

This is my first new england winter after a lifetime in CA. I have fair, dry, sensitive skin, and I was NOT prepared for what a new england winter would do to my skin. My skin was constantly tight, dry, itchy, and cracking. I tried a few other lotions (including one very expensive fancy brand) but none even come CLOSE to this one. It is thick but absorbs fast, and actually makes my skin soft again! It's amazing. I use it almost every night before bed and wake up to soft, non-itchy skin. My only complaint is that I wish it was unscented. Although the scent is light, it is still a bit too perfume-y for me.

Daughter-in-law gave me a little tube in her Christmas package of "most favorite things." It doesn't smell perfumey, it isn't sticky, and it softens the most stubborn spots, i.e. feet, elbows, hands.

Received a sample of this, tucked it in my purse and started using it while on vacation. My husband needed lotion one day, so he tried it and loved it so much that he asked me to get online and order some so it would be waiting when we returned home. It is very moisturizing, without being greasy. The effects last most of the day, even after a quick rinse.

I didn't realize what GoldBond did for my skin until I ran out and had to use something else temporarily. Let me tell you, I used 2 other lotions I had in my bathroom to hold me over and my skin got terribly dry! I was literally ITCHING to get another bottle of this stuff. But it is excellent. It's thick without being greasy and it lasts all day.
