This is nothing more than generic benadryl. It works fine but does tend to have the effect of putting you to sleep. If you have to stay awake look for one of the non drowsy antihystamines. This is very effective.

Does exactly what Benedryl does, at about 1/2 the cost. Even looks exactly alike. These work perfectly, though most people find that they get drowsy from them (but then, it's one of the ingredients in many OTC sleep aids, too, such as Excedrin PM). They work great when you want nothing additional (especially for those w/ liver or kidney issues) in your allergy meds, such as aspirin or DXM.

Excellent value on an effective, basic antihistamine. Great for immediate relief from a wide range of allergies. I tend to take this only at night because it does make me very sleepy. The sleepy factor can be a benefit or a deal-breaker, depending on your needs.

i prefer to buy tablet instead of capsules. this may cause drowsiness so i prefer to take smaller dose and tablet can be broken in half. fairly good price for generic version of Benadryl.

My Lhasa Apso has chronic eye problems, made worse by seasonal allergies. The veterinary ophtalmologist has him taking one 25mg pill/day everyday & increased to twice a day when allergies are bothering him. Because of the small size of these pills, very easy to give him (hidden inside a treat). I order more every time we run low.

Our vet recommended we give our chow/goldie mix benadryl for her allergies. It was the third vet we'd taken her to for her paw-licking, and this has been the cheapest and most effective preventative treatment. We give her two pills in the morning and two at night and it seems to keep her itchiness at bay.

Good Sense generic Benadryl is the most cost effective alternative for those of us who need allergy relief year round.

So called "non drowsy" antihistamine cost a large multiple of this price and *do not work as well* as this gold standard drug. The *non drowsy* products are only required to work one percentage point better than a placebo in order to get FDA approval and they do not work nearly as well as this product, although they can cost ten times as much--or even more.
If campaign finance reform is ever a reality, this misleading advertising will become prohibited.
