My hair is bobbed to chin length, but I have a LOT of hair, so it still takes forever to dry my hair. This dryer was way faster than the one I had been using before. If I just use it without any of the attachments and don't worry about styling it at all, it dries my hair in about three minutes. If I use the concentrator attachment and attempt to style my hair a bit, it takes about seven to ten minutes to dry everything. I still needed to use a flat iron after using the concentrator, so I decided to just skip that attachment in the future and just use the dryer for its super awesome fast drying skills.

This dryer DOES dry my hair faster than other tourmaline dryers I've used in the past. However, the size of the dryer is abnormally large. It feels like I am having to wave around a small television above my head. Really, the largest hair dryer I've ever seen/used. Also, towards the end of drying my hair, the handle near the base of the dryer is pretty hot, so it's a good thing it dries so fast. If you are ok using a very large hair dryer and have the space (not recommended for drying your hair in cramped quarters), it does what it says it does. It isn't my favorite hair dryer to date, but will use it when I'm crunched for time. Also, I have extremely fine and thin hair that is almost shoulder length. Drying longer and thicker hair would (from my experience) result in a handle that was too hot to hold.

Comments about Goody Heat Flash Dry 1875 Watt Lightweight Dryer, 1 ea:

I have thick hair that is colour treated and I normally blow dry my hair once a week with a touch up here and there if needed around the crown line. I naturally dry my hair in during the Summer Months and add that to the lifetime of this product and it has been hardly used! I purchased this product 6 months ago and with that little usage the seams where it's connected seem to be splitting apart and then two days ago while I was using it I heard a pop and then smoke coming from where the cord goes into the dryer at the base of the handle. I normally buy Pro Salono or professional dryers but thought I would give this a try as it was not 100 plus dollars but a high enough price. Well live and learn I will not be giving kudos or try to find a decent product from Goody!

Comments about Goody Heat Flash Dry 1875 Watt Lightweight Dryer, 1 ea:

This dryer worked great. It was fast and had plenty of heat on high. It was very powerful and blew my hair around alot without the directional tip. I was very satisfied. Without the tips, the nozzle slat was a bit awkward. The color is fun and it is a little on the larger size but about as heavy as other hair dryers.

Comments about Goody Heat Flash Dry 1875 Watt Lightweight Dryer, 1 ea:

I love that it doesn't burn myself or my hair...it is a quick dry with less heat than others I've tried. The negative I found is that my fingers slip when I'm trying to turn it off...I prefer a snap switch as opposed to a slide so I can do it one handed. This just works so fast! I can really tell the difference. The shape is a little awkward though: my only complaint. It points slightly down and is a bit heavy.

It dried my fine hair in seconds, and dried my daughter's thick, curly hair much faster than before.

Comments about Goody Heat Flash Dry 1875 Watt Lightweight Dryer, 1 ea:

I had high hopes for this hair dryer since I have thick hair that easily gets frizzy. I also have two small children which leaves little time for tedious hair drying and straightening. This dryer promised to dry hair 35% faster, which would be great if it didn't get my hair 100% frizzier. While I was impressed with the force of the air produced...the heat was barely warm. So it was basically like standing outside on a 70 degree day in a windstorm with wet hair. It probably dried my hair more quickly, but I had to then take as much time to straighten it if I had just gone to bed with a wet head the night before. Bottom line, not going to use this hair dryer much.

This seems bigger but not heavier than the hair dryer I have been using. Also, I feel this blows really strong. The temperature is not too high so seems gentle to the hair. I am fairly happy with it. Not too heavy, just odd shaped. Could be smaller though for better packing for trips etc.

It's not a bad Hair Dryer, I just don't know if it really dried my hair any faster than my smaller, lighter more compact dryer. I do like how the drying mechanism is much quieter than my small compact dryer. Overall, it's a good dryer but it wouldn't be my first choice nor would I recommend this.

I have extremely thick long hair and it seems to take a long time to dry it with this blow dryer- the attachment for the end of the blow dryer makes it somewhat ackward to blow dry your hair on one side.
