I don't know if those $100 plus brushes are really worth it, but I do know that this is a great brush.

Best of both worlds. .....ceramic mixed with boar bristles...I do believe that it is improving the texture of my hair...bought 5 more for my daughter in laws, granddaughter and my grandson's nurse.....we all love this brush. Not sure of how long it wil last as only have it a few months...seems good as new...inexpensive enough ...bought an extra! Good for wet or dry hair.

The brush worked fine, but only for about 4 months. After that time, the little balls come off the bristles and you're left with a scratchy brush. I used the brush approx. 2x/day, and I have long, straight hair that is not thick. I pull the hair out of the brush, using only my fingers, after each use.

Brush has been tossed away :(

The little 'balls' at the end of each bristle started coming off immediately. The exposed ends were painfully sharp. After I'd had the brush a few months, too many of them had come off for me to use the brush. Big waste of money. (I was just brushing my hair with this - not practicing X-treme Hair Sportz - so it had to be very poor quality to fall apart like that so fast.)

I LOVE this brush. I have chin-length, thin, fine hair. This brush feels good against my scalp and it smoothes and detangles my hair. It really does make it shinier and I have less static. It gives my hair a more polished, less frizzy look. Great for blow-dry styling too. It's gentle on my fragile hair and scalp.

I use this great brush daily to smooth my medium length hair. The varying length bristles feel good on my scalp too. Really does the job of taming unruly hair.

I have fairly thick hair, though less dense than it used to be. These brushes are my salvation because I use them every day rather than a comb. I only occasionally have to touch up with a comb if my hair gets too wild.

I opted for this brush over a slightly more expensive one, because the reviews were solid. I have "normal" hair (neither thick nor thin), so my blowdryer is never on the highest heat. Still, the bristles burned down to nubs, then the nubs melted together. You get what you pay for!

I have medium-fine long hair and this brush is great! It leaves my hair soft and silky and doesn't break the hair as badly as my old plastic brush.
