I opted for this brush over a slightly more expensive one, because the reviews were solid. I have "normal" hair (neither thick nor thin), so my blowdryer is never on the highest heat. Still, the bristles burned down to nubs, then the nubs melted together. You get what you pay for!

I have medium-fine long hair and this brush is great! It leaves my hair soft and silky and doesn't break the hair as badly as my old plastic brush.

Seems to detangle and condition my hair at the same time.I have long, medium-long thin hair that needs to be brushed frequently to keep from snarling or looking unkempt and this brush separates and shines nicely.

Overall construction quality is mediocre. Several bristles were fused together and they scrape my scalp. Inexpensive but not worth it IMO.

I love this brush. I've used the brushes that have the hard plastic nobs and I've used brushes that are just boar bristle and they've always been too statically charged. This brush has the best of both kinds. I highly recommend.

Better than any other brush. Better than the $100 plus brushes. I am amazed. My color treated, long, thin hair loves this brush. I like it so much I ordered another just to have a spare.

My thick, coarse, wavy-ish hair is the longest it has been since I was 8, so it was time to start a daily brushing routine to get the natural oils down to the ends of my hair (I'd been getting away with just combing it). I've always wanted a 100% boar bristle brush, but was told my hair was too thick and too long for it. So I tried this combination version, and it seems to be working. It doesn't tear through my hair, while at the same time it actually brushes all the way through without creating tumbleweed knots on the way down. The only downside so far is that I like to travel, so it would've been nice if it was pocket-sized.
