Too much looks greasy. Tip: work it into the ends first, then make your way up rubbing it in-between palms of hands to apply. Try using thumb-nail size at a time until you can figure out the amount that is best for you. If this helps, I have applied it to my hair and then used a straight-iron without any problems. I was in search of an inexpensive product because I spend a lot on my hair and I thought I would give this a try. Stick with Aveda Control Paste, Fekkai Pomade Cristal or Bumble & Bumble Sumo Wax if you want that piecey look; this stuff does nothing and makes your hair greasy and limp. You get what you pay for. I'd rather pay 5 times as much for the same amount of another product that actually works. REVIEWS Reviewed by 19 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Got 2b Defiant Define + Shine Pomade, 2 oz: My hair is coarse and frizzy. THis is by far the best product to tame my hair. It makes it smoother and straighter. You don't need this if your hair is thin and smooth, you'll find it too heavy. It is great for frizzy hair, I have shared it with others and they love it too. You don't ned to use much, it lasts a long time.

Comments about Got 2b Defiant Define + Shine Pomade, 2 oz: I liked the way the product worked. It had a good shine and contolled my hair well. I have a pixie cut and it gave it a nice wet look but the smell is horrible. I smelled it everywhere I went, rich potent orange jello. Way too strong.

Comments about Got 2b Defiant Define + Shine Pomade, 2 oz: My husband will only use this product after trying nearly 25 other things. He has wavy/poofy italian hair that is hard to keep neat and must look professional at his job. A small amount of this product carefully applied does the job without a lot of "hair product smell" and doesn't make you look like you have a bunch of sticky gel or spray on your hair. You can use it with spray if you need to, but it works great by itself. It's easy to comb though. I have long hair myself and can occasionally use a tiny bit on the ends of my hair to control fly-away static hair wtithout weighing down my hair. It's it great product if you know how to use it.

Comments about Got 2b Defiant Define + Shine Pomade, 2 oz: I have shoulder length hair that is thick, coarse and wavy. I use a little of this on my damp or dry hair to tame the frizz and define the waves. It works pretty well, but if you use too much or have fine hair it will feel greasy. I avoid putting it on the roots. ![]() |
