My clothes are soft and the stains come right out when I use this with the GrabGreen bleach alternative product. This is a great product that takes 2 packs for a large to extra large load. In high efficiency washers, make sure you toss it in the bottom or pierce the package. Had a few occasions where it didn't dissolve when it was thrown in last. Effective and leaves clothes smelling fresh with out the chemicals. Pros
