I bought this soap on a whim and I'm glad that I did. It reminds me of Yardley's oatmeal soap from years ago before they added almond, which is when I stopped buying it. Light, pleasant scent and plenty of oatmeal for soothing and softening. And a great price!

I was excited to try this product after reading the reviews, but I found that this was not an "everyday" soap. I felt it really dried my skin out and it seemed slightly irritated when I used it often. I don't know what it is, but I don't think this is for me or my skin. I have combination skin that may be slightly sensitive, but I REALLY wanted this to work for me! I didn't get any sense of moisturizing qualities at all. I usually never have t moisturize my skin, but felt like I need to slather my whole body to take away that dry, itchy feeling. Maybe it's the talc, but this is not for me! I may try another bar wtih different ingredients.

I bought this to wash my face but could not continue using it after the second use because it made my skin so dry. I may try it as a shower soap and see how it works on the rest of my body.

I am very thankful for the people who wrote their positive reviews for this soap; it is soley what I went on when purchasing it. I LOVE this soap. It does not dry out my skin, and it is incredible for exfoliating - just take a clean paper towel after washing and very gently roll it back and forth on your freshly washed/still wet face and this can help exfoliate the dead skin. It is affordable and natural. I am usually very sensitive to smells, but this doesn't bother me. I use it as a face soap - keep it in a draining soap dish - and it lasts. Great for combo/oily/mature/rosacea/sensitive skin! I hope they never stop making it. Way to go Grandpa.

I know the soap is not perfumed from reading the ingredient list, but I couldn't use it after opening the drugstore.com box. The whole box was permeated with its scent and it was REALLY strong. I couldn't get past the strong smell and ended up tossing the soap.

I use it to wash my face and body. Great scent and my skin never has a soapy residue. Also has an EWG rating of 0, so I know it is safe for my entire family.
