Use to give my cat a pill each day. She loves it and readily takes it. However, I do have another cat that won't touch it but she doesn't need medication. Depends on your cat's food tastes. It is soft and covers the pill completely. This is also the best price I found anywhere.

I use pill pockets to give my cat a total of 12 pills per day. He is 16 pounds and incredibly stubborn. Gaining his cooperation was essential. Pill pockets made that possible. Not all cats like them, but for those who do, it makes getting medication into them soooooo much easier! I strongly recommend trying them to anyway who has to give their cat medicine.

I have been using Greenies Pill Pockets to administer meds to my beagle. If something doesn't taste right, she won't touch it. She love Greenies!
I use the feline version, as my dog's pills are small, and the dog versions are too large and a waste.

My cat needs twice-daily pills for a chronic condition. He was compliant about the routine, but did NOT like being pilled. I bought Pill Pockets to see if they could work, and for my cat, they have been perfect! He munches them down and we no longer have to go through the stress of pilling. Only once or twice in 3 months has he managed to nibble around the pill instead of chowing it down. If you have a cat who is food-motivated and needs daily pills, I definitely recommend giving these a test run to see if the cat will accept them.

Samantha loves her treats although at times I'm not sure she earns them. For the last couple of years I gave her worming pills allowing her to just eat them mixed in her dry food. I would fuss at her for not taking her medicine and after a day or 2 she would finish taking them. Last month (October) I mixed the pills in some canned cat food so she could take it right away. Well she leisurely took her time licking the juice up and nibbling the food slowly but she finished later that night. I just gave her too much cat food so I vowed next time I'll give her less so she'll take all the medicine at once. To round off my purchase at drugstore.com I brought some Greenies dental treats a few months prior and Samantha really likes them. It was time to get some more and I noticed the Greenies pill pockets. Ordered them and used them for the first time this month. Feed her dry cat food then put the pill pockets, with pills, into the bowl. She gobbled the pill pockets up first. She even chewed the pills and I could hear them break. She didn't even hesitate or gag with the medicine taste just ate them first thing. I was so thankful because now I don't have to worry that she'll catch something on her adventures. I was also concerned that her eating part of her medication would decrease the effectiveness of the medication creating some type of super worm. I didn't have to beg and scold her to take her medicine like I've been doing for the last couple of years. I'm looking forward to using the pill pockets again next month expecting the same results. I still consider myself a new cat owner because I learn something new about cats everyday.

This is the BEST invention ever for cat owners who must give medication to their cat(s)! Pill Pockets are very easy to use, and my cat LOVES the different flavors (he gobbles them right up without hesitation!). Prior to Pill Pockets, I dreaded the daily struggle with trying to convince my cat to take his medicine; now, it's the first step in our morning routine, and he actually looks forward to it!

The only 'negative' is that they have gone way up in price, at least at the larger pet supply stores. So, I was very happy to be able to purchase them from this site at a more reasonable price!

first, no idea why, but the image here clearly says FELINE yet this is in the dog category and with dog options...however...the feline chicken pockets work SO well for cats, i can only imagine them successful for dogs as well. (though i've never had a problem pill-ing a dog anyhow.) my cat is impossible to pill; these are the only things that make it possible. for what they are, they're ridiculously expensive, but if it's a few extra dollars out or a healthy cat who isn't trying to claw my eyes out, well, i'll pay the bucks. if you have a 'difficult' pet to which you need to administer medicine, i can't recommend these highly enough.
