I thought this product was worth a try to to its potential savings and environmental benefits...then I saw how well it works. It is really incredible. It even keeps my high efficiency washer cleaner...meaning I don't need to use those pricey cleaning packets every 2 weeks. What else could you ask for? Well, maybe a counter so I know when to replace it. I imagine it will just start to work less efficiently and that will trigger me to get a new one. So far it is going strong and I use it about 3 times a week for the last few months.

I was skeptical. I have an HE machine and have used this both with little detergent and no detergent. Clothes seem to come out clean--I hesitate to say cleaner than with detergent alone, but possibly. I did put the green ball to the test throwing a very dirty, thoroughly stained rag in with regular clothes. I added a tiny bit of detergent. The rag came out stained (I wasn't expecting it to be white again), but the down side was that the clothing items smelled a bit like dirt. They were clean, but just not deodorized. They weren't too bad, just smelled a bit when I put them up to my nose. I will definitely be using the green ball, as it says, with no detergent. With heavily soiled items, I may use a tiny bit of detergent. It is pretty amazing and will save money down the road.

I use it with non-delicate clothing, towels and bedding and I still use a small amount of unscented all-natural detergent. Everything I've washed with it is so clean; no residue.

I was extremely skeptical, but decided this was worth a try. Much to my utter shock, this thing really works! I've been using it for over two months and have been very impressed with how clean, fresh, and soft my laundry is. Couldn't be happier! I also gave as gifts to three family members and they all love it too. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews and just give it a try with an open mind.

This little green ball is amazing! I wasn't sure it would really work but it did. I have two little boys that get their clothes really dirty every day and this green ball gets their clothes clean without any detergent. I still use some pretreat stain remover on the tough stains. The little green ball is saving me so much money and is good for the environment too. Love it!

I'm really surprised at the few negative comments here. This ball works GREAT. The water where I live is absolutely BROWN and all my whites have always ended up being tan. Not anymore! I was stunned to see them come out whiter than they went into the washer. Even some set in stains have either lightened up dramatically or are gone altogether. I expected it to work, but I never expected it to work this well! I'm VERY pleased and will be getting some for my mama and kids, too! One thing I will say is that it would be a good idea not to pack the washer with clothes, the ball needs room to move around. Maybe the naysayers overloaded their washers? I'm just guessing....

I really liked the idea of this, but even if I added a little detergent to the mix, I really don't think this did the job of cleaning my laundry any more than just washing it with water and no soap would have. I really wanted it to work too.

you wouldn't believe that this weird little ball could do all it claims to do, but it does! the clothes come out smelling CLEAN. not like perfumey detergent, but just simply clean. oh, and i haven't seen a need to use any fabric softener sheets, either.

i just got a new puppy, and have been using the laundry ball to wash the various items he's peed on, and it even gets those clean and fresh smelling. it is definitely worth every penny.
