Indications
Treats vaginal yeast (candida) infections. Relieves external vulvar itching and irritation associated with a yeast infection.
Warnings
For vaginal or external vulvar use only.
Do not use
if you have abdominal pain, fever or a foul-smelling vaginal discharge. Contact your doctor immediately.

Ask a doctor before use if you have
vaginal or vulvar itching and discomfort for the first time. If you have had a doctor diagnose a vaginal yeast infection before and have the same symptoms now, use this cream as directed for 7 days in a row.

It's also good for unconventional use - it helps skin itches and irritations where hydrocortisol cream fails. I don't get yeast infections often, but if I did, I would have my medicine cabinet stocked up with tons of these. A total winner.

This product works so much better than anything I have tried. I get a yeast infection every time I take an antibotic so this is great. I just wish it came pre-filled so you didn't have to wash the applicator.

Lotrimin cream has been around for a long time. When monistat cream came on the market it became harder and harder to find lotrimin... many people are allergic to monistat cream, if you are one of those people who found out the hard way that monistat cream is not for you.... I am very sorry. I wish our society would remember' just because a product has been around for a long time it doesn't mean it's not good, and just because something new comes along it doesn't mean it's better....

Hard-to-find product, that's well worth the search to find! I have had burning reactions to some of the more powerful creams, (myconazole nitrate, and the one day treatments available over-the-counter,) and this one is the only one that is gentle enough for my system.. Even the generics that try to copy it, tend to add in too many other burning ingredients. Soothing for a sensitive bladder, irritated by a vaginal amonia-like odor, caused by a sudden change in diet. (Or a sudden stop in taking a multitude of vitamins.) Thank you drugstore.com for carrying it!

Best over the counter yeast cream. If have sensitive skin best product. Takes longer than three day but does not have burning if you have sensitive skin. Three day version is faster and stronger but can have mild burning with three day compared to seven day version.

I get recurring yeast infections...grrr. Ive used monistat in the past (you can read my review) and it was a nighmare. Based soley on the reviews for this product I tried it. I was most pleasantly suprised! It worked well, and no vaginal burning. I did feel a little tingling/heat on the outside skin in the morning, but nothing horrible. A great alternative. I will buy this in the future and skip the monistat. Just wish it had prefilled applicators.
Fill the applicator and insert one applicatorful of cream into the vagina, preferably at bedtime. Repeat this procedure for 7 days in a row.
For relief of external vulvar itching, squeeze a small amount of cream onto your finger and gently spread the cream onto the irritated area of the vulva. Use once or twice a day for up to 7 days as needed to relieve external vulvar itching. The cream should not be used for vulva itching due to causes other than a yeast infection.
