Best Uses Comments about Hain Pure Foods Iodized Sea Salt, 26 oz: This salt used to be very good... until they took them of the shelves and added dextrose and baking soda to the mix. I was not aware of the change before purchasing. HAIN switch back to the old formula. Dextrose in Salt really? How come it was never in the old packages. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 2/9/2012 Good tasting and inexpensive Pros

Comments about Hain Pure Foods Iodized Sea Salt, 26 oz: I've been looking for an inexpensive sea salt to use for cooking, baking and everyday table use; this is it. The salt is a fine texture, but not super fine. It's taste is much superior to regular table salt, briny but less harsh. I'm not sure where the salt is from, most likely the Pacific coast, but it's a good product at a good price. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Hain Pure Foods Iodized Sea Salt, 26 oz: Only sea salt I've found that has iodine, which is needed in our diet. I first found this in the grocery store, but was not able to find it again. Finally found it here, and ordered multiple ones to share. I'm now re-ordering, since I've run out. It does a great job on potatoes, because even if they are a little under-salted, there's still a salty flavor that comes through, which I don't find with iodized table salt. Comments about Hain Pure Foods Iodized Sea Salt, 26 oz: Love to use sea salt in all my receipes but most sea salts do not contain iodine, a major requirement in our diet for thyroid health. This is the only brand of Sea Salt that I can find that meets this requirement and I have searched everywhere.
