i did get a bit of irritation with this product but only because i got impatient with it. if you take your time, it works great. as i used it i got an "ashy" look on my legs. this was a good thing though because not only did it get all the dead, dry skin off, but it lifted ingrown hairs, leaving my skin extra smooth. i would recommend this product to anyone who is just starting out shaving, because if you're patient with it, there is no irritation at all. right after i finished i just put a little lotion on and it left my skin silky smooth.

I have not shaved my legs in 3 years, as I was getting older it just seemed easier because of the smaller hair growth. I just had scatterd hairs that would get long on ankle and shin area. I just received this product and after a few minutes ALL the hair is gone. No pain, no shaving. I am one happy gal!

My legs were so smooth afterwards. And I didn't have to use it again until 14 days later. I was itchy afterwards, but I used the mitten right before my weekly ritual of soaking in a bath, and the itch went away.

I have used other brands of the sandpaper style of hair remover in the past, and this brand does not work as well -- I think probably the sandpaper is too fine. It misses a lot of hairs, even when using very firm pressure. It does leave the leg feeling smooth, though, and does remove dry skin. Just be prepared to do a lot of touch-up work with a razor if you want to be hairless.

I did use Baby Touch Mitts and can no longer find them. These are made of a lighter paper than the Baby Touch Mitts so have a tendency to tear along the fold. However since Baby Touch Mitts seem to be unavailable, these are a good alternative.

Don't try this on sensitive areas. I got what I can only describe as razor burn in some areas. Worked pretty good on legs and arms where skin isn't so sensitive. I prefer Smooth Away better!

Followed directions to a T, and this product did not remove one hair. It was not only me, but a room full of others who had the product and it gave the same results-NOTHING. All I can say is GIMMICK! Save your money.

If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend this product. It felt fine as I was using it, but within an hour, irritation set in. 3 days later, some areas are still irritated.

Don`t waste your money for this mitten. I thought it will be more easy to use than use cream...but I swear not even 1 hair remove from my skin. I will be back to cream hair remover, that work wayyyyyyy better tah this one.

An infomercial introduced me to a product similar to this, and, being a skeptic, I didn't want to order it in case it didn't work. While browsing drugstore.com, I found THIS brand so I figured I'd give it a try, for a couple of bucks it was worth a shot. IT REALLY WORKS!!!! It is basically a very fine sandpaper you slip on your hand, rub gently in circles and *voila* the next thing you know you have smooth legs. I purchased it for my 13-year old daughter that wasn't ready for a razor...I think she will be a lifelong user!
