These are real working cough drops, not just candy. This is the only cough drop I've ever tried that actually seems to open up my congested breathing passages. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the menthol in Halls, Mentho Lyptus. Sometimes I find menthol can be quite overpowering. However, Halls succeeded in making a menthol cough drop that cools my nasal passages and throat, without being sharp tasting. I'd use these again and I've already recommended them to friends.
