This is mostly essential if you cook for your dog. Since cooking strips a lot of nutrients and vitamins from the food. (If your dog has kibble, it isn't so important because kibble has sufficient minerals and vitamins for the dog already)
I own a doggy cafe (where we serve food for dogs as well as humans), and i actually use this to top off the meals i cook & serve to the dogs. Which is definitely much more presentable than a multi vitamin tablet.
Have been purchasing this for 1 and a half years now!

Vita-mineral mix was first recommended to me by a holistic vet, when I adopted a very sick stray cat that failed to thrive. This 2 year old cat was virtually hairless, due to stress and illness. Using this product for his coat and Florazyme EFA for his gut health produced dramatic effects. He became robust and developed a long, luxuriant coat and a bushy tail (part Turkish Van). When I adopted a companion kitten, a litter from a stray taken in at a shelter, I noticed similar results. The kitten's coat was originally like brillo - and now is long and soft. I think that the essential fatty acids helped his temperament, too. He becomes agitated if I stop using it for any length of time. 17 years of success!

I add this to my 15 year old cat's wet food, and he loves it. He has always had "brillo hair" since he was a kitten, unless I supplemented his daily food. With this product, his coat is shiny, and I think he's happier and calmer, too. Essential oils are important for pets (as for humans) and help their temperament.

My dog has been using the Halo Vita Mineral Mix for almost 8 years now. I add it to the Halo Spots Stew and it is a complete and nutritious meal for him. It is especially good for canned dog foods as food loses nutrition when in a can. This adds the vitamins and minerals back to the food. His coat is beautiful and his eyes shine with health.

GREAT vitamins made with raw items. Wonderful for animals' coats and digestive systems. Animals LOVE it. I've found that the animals ADORE it so much that they often eat it off the food and leave the food.

I have a 10 year old border collie mix that has bad allergies. I use this mixed with the Halo Dream Coat. When used on a regular basis I definitely can tell a difference. She doesn't get stinky as fast, her coat looks shinier, she doesnt scratch as much and she acts younger. I will continue to buy this an recommend it. I just wish this site sold larger containers and it was a better value.

This product did wonders for my Maltese when we were having skin problems. It helps with the joints as well. They say it aids in digestion, and that could have been the reason for the skin issues, but in any case. We've never had such great coat texture. This stuff is wonderful. Tasty too!
