This item is wonderful! I can wash it and use it over & over.... Unlike the disposable ones that are so expensive and only a one time use product.

This Halo-shield underpad cuts down on the cost and waste of using the disposables. It's a comfortable "green" solution.

As a mother of twin 1 year olds, I am constantly changing my boys' sheets due to overnight leakage. I have found that using these pads under the fitted sheet, means that I can go longer without changing the whole protective mattress cover. The Halo Shield pad covers about 3/4 of the crib mattress and is not at all bulky. To me, it was worth the investment since they are easier to wash and fold than the fitted mattress covers. It would be nice if they made one that was the same size as the crib mattress, but at this size they fit better in the washing machine and really do cover most of our problem area. One thing I was pleasantly surprised to discover was that the backside of the pad was tan, not the "doctor's scrubs" green color as in the picture.

I bought one of these to try on my elderly mother's bed as an alternative to using disposables, and was extremely happy with my purchase. The disposables continually cost money, and also are flimsy and do not stay in place well, but the Halo product is a good size, doesn't shift around and is waterproof. I ended up buying 3 additional ones so I don't have to do daily laundry, and I am purchasing a few more for her recliner and wheelchair. I've had the original 4 almost a year, and they show no signs of wear. You may balk at the price, but I think they are well worth it and they do the job - no complaints at all about this product.

definitely works well on the places it covers, but it slides around under the bed sheet and gets crumpled which results in insufficient coverage.

I bought this underpad to use as a changing surface for my new baby while waiting for the changing table to arrive. I folded it in quarters, brought it from room to room and 'voila' instant pee-pee proof changing pad!! It's very absorbent when there ARE accidents and I've thrown in in the wash using hot & bleach and it's back to new! Now that we've received the changing table I actually still use this pad as the permanent changing surface on top to protect the pretty changing pad cover underneath that came with the table. I would highly recommend this product for any diaper changers out there... and you can fold it down pretty small and take it with when traveling for easy changing on a hotel bed, etc. Love it! Buy it! Worth it!

We decided to try this product to save money with packaged underpads and what a difference it has made. Urine odors have been eliminated and the absorbency is fantastic. My mom has had a stroke so she is incontinent and she also has diabetes so there can be some pretty strong urine odors. We have noticed that she stays drier and that if there are leaks that the odor has disappeared. THANK YOU DRUGSTORE.COM AND HALOSHIELD!

This product has many uses I guess, but I've found it particularly handy for pets! I use it in my dog's crate and on the car seat and couch (my pets are spoiled what can I say:)and not only does it protect the furniture, but it cuts down on smell too!
