Sun Alert: Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects of the sun. May stain some fabrics. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. For use on skin only.
Easy to spread on and worked well for me. It prevented me from getting a sunburn and continue to tan(although I did have a base tan). I also like the smell as compared to most suntan lotions that do not smell great.
This is great stuff! It smells kind of fruity and rubs in easily. After about 3 minutes you can't even tell it's on because there's no stickiness or oily feeling, even on your hands. Naturally if you're out in the sun you'll get a little sweaty, but the lotion itself doesn't make you sticky. I keep some at the front door and slather it on my hands and arms in the summertime when I'm running errands in the car. 15 is a good low to mid-range SPF, that depending on your skin type, will probably allow you to get a little color without burning or damaging your skin. I do follow this with a higher SPF on key places like knees, face and hands, but for the rest I just use this. I'll be buying more when I run out.
I love this product. I am a redhead so my skin burns easily. I have used both 30 spf and 15 spf, for different sun exposures. The 15 spf is perfect protection for me during yard work, or even sunbathing. For all day hot sun exposure like a day at the beach etc I use the 30 spf. I can even develope a tan. The best part for me is the smell of coconut and banana. I can't stand the classic sunscreen smell. I will search and search till I find my favorite product to wear for sun protection. I have even used the 30 spf in the Carribean with no burning.
