I gave this only four stars because it takes a bit more effort to get it rubbed in than the matte finish. If you use too much, you have to keep rubbing to make the white go away and absorb into your head. The matte finish rubs right in, no problem. Also, I can't tell a difference between the shiny finish and matte finish, my head looks the same with either one. I'd recommend just getting the matte finish because it goes on easier.
