But I still like to go places and enjoy myself in loud environments. These cut out the background noise so I can actually 'hear' friends talking in a bar. And going to a loud movie isn't physically painful to my ears when the plane crashes in full, overly loud sound! Sleeping, my husband snores, can't even be attempted without these little beauties. These are super soft yet very effective. I sleep with them every night to block sounds that would otherwise keep me awake. Pros
