Consumer beware! The first and most dangerous ingredient in this product is Propylene glycol, also known as a skin irritant...which does not belong in any cosmetic or personal hygiene item. Yet, it continues to be put in toothpaste, vanilla extracts, and face creams. Companies continue to manufacture "Natural" products to contain this horrible toxin thus, consumers need to take notice of all ingredients before buying.

I have been very pleased with this stick so far. It is not an anti-perspirant, just a deodorant with natural ingredients. I haven't been able to find something that works underneath the layers of sweaters, thermals, and puffy jackets during wintertime, and also at the gym- this has not disappointed. I like the smell which I find unisex, herbal but slightly citrusy, very pleasant.

I usually use the Herbal Clear "Sport" product, but I thought I'd give this a try. The scent is more herbal, and well, outdoorsy, but it works just as well as the "Sport" product [...]. Neither the "Sport" nor this product have ever lasted me 24 hrs with no odor unless I stay inside all day and don't do much, but I don't expect them to. They both work best when you start off clean - freshly showered - and they get me through the work day (I work primarily outdoors) or a workout just fine. If you re-apply occasionally BEFORE odor becomes a problem you may be able to stretch it 24 hours.Herbal clear products are the only natural deodorant products I have used that don't irritate the skin when you re-apply throughout the day, and I have used them almost exclusively for several years. I have also found that traditional commercial antiperspirant/deodorants can irritate the skin during physical activity, but these products do not.This product is effective for a short time if you are already smelly from perspiration. The herbal scent does initially mask odors well, but again, only for a short time.Overall, I like it. I haven't tried it anywhere but underarms, and I'm not sure about the insect repellant claim. Best case scenario is if I could alternate the "Sport" product with this product, day to day.

We use this when we're out in the backyard instead of products with DEET.

Was iffy about buying this, the crystal deodorants never worked for me. But this worked great. No strong perfume sent, and kept the body odor away. Great natural product, better than using the brand name antiperspirants that have been proven to cause breast cancer.

This product doesn't work for odor control. Or it does, but only for a very short period of time. My boyfriend told me he could smell my body odor within a few hours of use after having a nice shower. The smell is OK, if you like the smell of lemon, eucalyplus, lavender & cedar. I haven't tried to product for insect control, but it just might work good for that. Saving the bottle for the next time I go camping.

I'm allergic to many deodorants--natural or not--but this deodorant is non-irritating, helps me smell fresh and lasts a long time. Sometimes I have to reapply after a workout or a day of running around, but you can't beat a great natural deodorant without harmful chemicals.
