I used this after foot surgery but they didnt retain the cold long enough nor got cold enough to be effective in reducing swelling for this purpose. I gave them to my pregnant friend whose feet were swelling and she enjoyed the herbal fragrance and coolness but also felt they were not cold enough to reduce her foot swelling. The might be nice warm but not tried. the packs were not positioned well. 25.00 is way to expensive; I paid [$].
