I have no idea what the reviewer is talking about with flakes. I use this everyday on my fine hair to give it some volume and I've never had any flakes. I suspect flakes come from using way too much of it. I have no problems with this mousse. It gives some lift and it smells great.

I was looking forward to the promised volume. Followed directions and my hair was flat for a good 10 minutes straight after blow drying my hair but within 30 minutes my hair was back to the way it was as if I just let it air dry with no products. My hair is stick straight but even other mousse have had better hold than this. This has done absolutely nothing for my hair which is extremely disappointing. Products apparently don't seem to work in my hair, not just herbal essence, so maybe I am being too harsh but I was truly looking forward to more volume in my lifeless hair.

I really liked the mousse, it does add a lot of volume to my thinning hair, will definitely use more in the future.

I have used Redken and suave and rave...This is the BEST ever moouse!! It gives me the volume I need.I am 80% grey with color and hair is VERY thin on top.It works wonders.Makes thinnest less noticable.

i just bought this product today and omg i love it, even though i only put a little bit on because i wasnt forsure how much to use i still got good volume. The smell is just to die for its citrusy which is something i complety love. :D
