First off, this shampoo smells great - like peaches and berries. It took me a little while to figure out the best way to use this shampoo on my limp, wavy hair. I have greasy roots and yet dry ends from heat styling that puff out so it's tricky finding a balanced shampoo for my split personality hair. I like using this shampoo when my roots are especially greasy, but I found that if I used too much and scrubbed my whole head with it, then my ends got super dry.

I have very fine straight hair. I used this shampoo and conditioner for about a month. I kept hoping my hair would get used to it, but it never happened!

This line really dried out my hair, even with only washing every other day.

It does smell fabulous and gave me decent shine, but my ends were constantly dried out and poofy. :(

After 3 uses, my hair was dried out with very little "extra body." Would have giving this no stars if I could.

I wanted to love this. I have fine straight hair but my hairdresser says I have a lot of fine straight hair. This shampoo smells good and lathers fine but it doesn't add any body and it dries the hair out over the time I've been using it. The conditioner doesn't make up for the dry hair and I don't usually ever have a problem with dry hair. I have a huge bottle--when I'm done, I won't repurchase.

Whoa there, this sure comes out of the bottle in large amounts, but then that's what is needed to get any lathering.

I do not notice any volumizing whatsoever.

Nice scent, but that's about all I can say good about it. This will last a LONG time; will be glad when it's empty and I can try something else.

I used to use Herbal Essences years ago and decided to try it again. My husband and I are both happy with the results: cleans well, adds volume, smells great and doesn't cost a lot! Actually, what is there not to like?! It sits side-by-side with more expensive brands in our bathroom and I find myself reaching for it nearly all the time.
