I have stayed away from this brand because, despite smelling nice, it wasn't very good at cleaning or lathering for me. I tried this new line because online reviews from customers and magazines said it was very good and it was on sale. It was thick, looked very moisture and oil rich, and seemed to really hydrate my hair.My hair was dried out from an organic brand I was using and this shampoo seemed to restore the luster and softness. I don't even need to use conditioner. The ends of my hair are still a bit dry though, but I do have long hair..

I had thick long hair when I tried this and it was HORRIBLE! the only good thing about it was the smell. It dried my hair out and made it really dull. I had to buy moisturizing shapoo after I used it for about 3 weeks. My mom who has short fine hair used it and it did the same thing to her hair too. I would NOT reccomend it EVER!!

Comments about Herbal Essences Hydralicious Self-Targeting Shampoo, 10.1 fl oz:

I have fine, thin hair that barely needs any hydration/moisturization. I have tried many products that claim to provide just enough without weighing down fine hair, but every time it does. Not so with this! It provides just enough moisturization for my thin hair. I switch off and on with the Body Envy because I need some volume in my hair, but also hydration. If you barely need your shampoo to moisturize your hair, then I recommend this. Also, I usually love Herbal Essences for their scents, but this one is barely there. I do have allergies and a reduced sense of smell, but I can normally smell HE products. Not so with this one which is why I gave it only 4 stars.

The shampoo had a difference consistency to it from others. It smelled nice. Wasn't sure what the outcome would be. I took a walk with my hair wet when I returned home couldn't believe how soft and shiny my hair looked. It looked healthy, and lifted my spirits.

Great product! I had no idea they could make a shampoo that targets the moisture. Love technology!

I have tried a multitude of herbal essences products over the years. They are constantly geting good reviews for the price but I have had no success with them. I find that their products strip my hair, make it brittle and thus cause lots of breakage. I am from India and have dark silky hair. It's not super sensitive although it is fine.

Comments about Herbal Essences Hydralicious Self-Targeting Shampoo, 10.1 fl oz:

I like Herbal Essences shampoos in general because they work well, smell nice, and cost very little. When I first used this one, I didn't like that it didn't seem to rinse completely out of my hair, like it left behind some kind of coating. But then after I blow dried my hair it was definitely smoother and shinier, and a little fuller too. Not poofy, like some volumizing shampoos can be, but just a little more bounce. And smells great too.

Wonderful for fine and/or thin hair--adds moisture for easy comb-out after shampoo (no conditioner needed!) and great volume. I use this shampoo daily, and my hair is soft with no dryness.
