I have tried every other cleansing conditioner out there- from the most $$$$ to the least $- the most well known with a cult following and the obscure ones! I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with this one. I do have Herbal Essences in my current rotation but I must wash my hair daily- and my fine, thin/medium textured hair has been going through some issues after a long period of fertility treatments. This stuff is awesome! Smells great, you don't have to use a tone of pumps, spreads well, leave it on a few minutes and rinses very easily. No tangles, soft, lightweight hair that still felt clean the next morning!

I usually read the ingredients before buying a product I'd like to try but neglected to do so this time around. It wasn't until I was in the shower and had already started using the product when I looked at the ingredients. There it was #8 or 9 on the list: Dimethicone I was very disappointed. Because this is a cleansing co-wash I was extremely surprised by the presence of a non-water soluble silicone. It makes no sense to have it in a product that's meant to clean the hair. Because I do not use sulfate shampoos having this product in a co-was will eventually cause build-up. Otherwise the product worked rather well. Unfortunately the dimethicone is a deal-breaker. So 3 stars because it worked well but I subtracted 2 for the silicone because it really shouldn't be in something that's designed as a cleansing conditioner.

Lovely, light scent. Cleaned really thoroughly and left my hair soft, shiny, and deeply moisturized. One does have to use more of this type of product than one does when using a regular shampoo.A great alternative to Wen, for me it worked much better and of course the price difference is great. I gave my bottle to a Wen using friend and bought two more for myself

Comments about Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

I use this in rotation with my very expensive regular shampoo for color-treated hair. I've tried a few others cleansing conditioners, including Wen, and found that they dried out my hair and dulled the color. This one feels rich and slightly sudsy, is easy to work into the hair, and rinses out easily while leaving my fairly coarse, wavy hair feeling very soft. I've only been using it about once a week because I'm afraid to give up my expensive stuff completely, but I really like it. And I love the fact that it is so quick--work it through, rinse fast, and done. No "shampoo and repeat" followed by conditioning. The scent is light and refreshing, though as others have said, it's not exactly mint. If I start using it all the time and I still love it, I'll upgrade my review to 5 stars.

I can't afford Wen. I LIKE Wen but can NOT afford it. That being said I went on using shampoo and conditioner. I have naturally curly hair which runs on the dry side but I have an oily scalp and skin. I had read online about the "no shampoo" thing and decided "why not"? OK, 2 weeks later I decided I needed a conditioning wash so I looked again and WA LA.....this is IT for me. It works GREAT and is affordable and the smell? It's not horrible....I mean it's not lilly of the valley or anything girly like that but it's fine and there is a subtle "minty" undertone to the smell which does not last.
SO.....if anyone here is needing a good, affordable conditioning wash give this a whirl you might be happy you did.

        DO NOT STOP MAKING THIS

Comments about Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

I have always had to wash my hair everyday. I have a lot of hair but it is very fine. I now can go 2 days without washing. This is absolutely amazing to me. It has been a couple weeks and I can tell if I need more or less pumps by feel. My hair has lots more body. It feels soft(it kinda always did because of texture) Less fly a ways. Most shocking, Little to no hair in the drain. The smell, like anything, is going to be different to everyone. I personally do not have any issues with it. In my area I have not seen the rose scented, I would like to try that. HE, again Please do not stop making this ... and add more scents if possible. I don't usually write reviews. This stuff, I absolutely love and had to write one. Thank You HE.

Loved the Wen product but found it unaffordable. This works just as well or better for about a quarter of the cost - less really because you use less product each time. I never use shampoo anymore and my haircolor lasts 4 months now, not to mention less hair breaking and falling out and easier to style. I can't say enough about this stuff! A++

Scent is nice, but VERY strong.

Comments about Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

I don't mind the scent of this product at all, but it IS very strong. The hospital where I work has a no scent policy, and the scent on this cleansing conditioner is actually so strong that it violates that policy. I wish you'd come out with a "REALLY naked" product that does not contain any artificial scents!

I guess I'm not the only one loving this product! I used to use Wen but didn't like the price or the gunky residue that clogged the drain. I've been using this HE Cleansing Conditioner for a good solid six months now. It's fantastic! I have naturally curly hair that drove me nuts as a kid/teen. Wish this product had been around back then! It leaves my hair clean but without any residue or buildup, rinses like a dream, and leaves my hair in wonderful shape and not limp or flyaway. I am hooked!! If you are wasting your money on Wen, I really suggest you give this product a try -- your hair and pocketbook will thank you.

          Too Much Alcohol

Comments about Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

While I'm getting used to shampoo free cleaning, I'm not impressed with the INSANE amount of Alcohol used in the product. It's drying out and making my hair worse. It's dry enough as it is, but to use this and have that much alcohol upset the balance of my hair, you REALLY need to rethink your formula. I tried it and Won't be buying it again.
