I have thick, curly hair that goes to my waist. In the past, I've had to use gels (which left my curls "crispy"), because mousses would dry my hair out. This product keeps my curls in perfect spirals without frizzies and without drying my hair out. Has a sweet floral scent, but not overpowering. I would definitely recommend to anyone with thick curls who have tried every product out there only to be disappointed. This is a keeper!

I absolutely love this mousse. I have super curly hair and this mousse gave me the perfect balance between control and that little bit of craziness all curly haired people have. Unfortunately, rarely can I EVER find this mousse anywhere. I've switched to the Tousling Mousse, but this mousse is really my favorite. I wish I could have it all the time! =(

If you are looking at this mousse, you likely have curly and probably dry hair. ANY sort of alcohol listed in the ingredients will dry your hair out!!
This product has both Propane and Isobutane. NOT good for those curls!

I have bought NUMEROUS products for curly hair and have been nothing but disappointed in every single one, even the most expensive ones. while grocery shopping, i bought this on a whim not thinking it would do much for my hair.

this is the best product i have ever bought for curly hair. it feels like i have NO product in, yet my curls look amazing. it doesn't feel sticky, heaving or crunchy and it looks amazing.

i will keep repurchasing this product

I used to get the curl boosting Mousse in a darker purple can and it was great, now it is in a light purple can, and it doesn't do the same as before

Before this mousse, I was straightening my hair constantly and it was getting more damaged by the day. Once I bought totally twisted curling mousse, I began to use it everyday after I got out of the shower (I would towel-dry my hair some, brush it, and then massage in the mousse). Then, I would twist clumps of my hair into individual curls. The curls turned out great: sleek, shiny and unique! I started to use it everyday and it was a quick way to do my hair in the morning while still squeezing in a shower. I received a ton of compliments on the curls (and still do), everyone asking how I my hair like that! In addition, the mousse smells great!

Warnings:
-Don't try twisting the curls into straight and thin hair (it didn't work for my Mom's hair).
-Don't apply too much or it leaves the hair feeling greasy and disgusting (as with any mousse).
-Twist the curls when you have the clothes you are going to be wearing on. In other words, don't twist the curls and apply the mousse in your bathrobe if you are going to change in the near future, or else the shirt might undo your still-wet curls.

this is amazing!!! i used to use garnier fructis, but this works wayyy better and smells wayyyy better. :) it smells soooo sweet. and it makes my curls fuller and softer. i love it!

Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse has been my favorite hair product for years-until this week when the packaging was changes, and apparently so was the fragrance (although that part is not being advertised). It is still being marketed as the tropical mystique fragrance but it smells completely different, which is unfortunate since that was half the reason I loved it so much. Also, where before I bought it in extra hold, I now only see it in strong hold.

This product was great! The only reason it's not at five stars for me is because i did find another mousse that did a better job for me but this is my second favorite mousse. It smells amazing & really is a great curl mousse.

first of all the smell is amazing! it doesn't make my hair crunchy and if it does in little spots i jsut run my fingers over it and it smoothes itself out. it definitely holds my curls and will stay moisturized for a while which is good because my hair is really dry and tends to dry into frizz. i also use this for second dry hair and it redos my curls. for the price, definitely get this and try it out!
