I use it almost daily, especially since my husband is in the military and is overseas. This toy is good for achy muscles and looks like a nondescript item, which is great in case someone stumbles upon it in your room. The main attraction of this item (for me at least) is for its pleasure in bed. The only negative I can give this product would be that it's noisy.. but for the power and vibration it gives.. it's a trade off I'll gladly accept. I've tried many other vibrators in the past and they've either burned out or just didn't hit the right spot. I LOVE THE MAGIC WAND. If you're thinking about trying this..GET IT!! YES it is very much the "cadillac of vibrators," but is not without its downfalls. I won't repeat the "cons" already listed, but I will stress that although you WILL have org*sm after org*sm in one session, you have to wonder why. They are quick and they are strong, but often SO quick that they are premature, and while very pleasurable, leave you feeling a sense of frustration AFTER that you aren't quite "finished," and the cycle goes on. [...].After all the years this has been around, it is appalling that they don't even TRY to listen to reviews and make one smaller with more variations in speed. I actually prefer the high setting, but I can see why some might get too sensitive. Another thing that needs to be made smaller is the HEAD of this thing. [...]Overall, as it stands based on what it out there, I highly recommend this (get the waterproof pink Doc Johnson naughty desires egg w/4 speeds for times when less is better)...the Hitachi definitely will makes anyone org*sm, and is a good QUICK stress reliever, but they have much work to be done. I noticed that the insert on the new one says Vibratex distributes it, so maybe they will listen and make the much needed alterations...just keep the HIGH setting too! :) Too big overall and VERY loud, as stated by umpteen people. Comments about Hitachi Magic Wand #HV-250R, 1 ea: After I was having great difficulty being "satisfied," I searched for a powerful vibrating tool and found this one. I'm ALWAYS "satisfied" with this. I do have some wishes for improvement though, such as: a long cord, less noisy, a dial as opposed to the 2 speed switch, lighter weight and less bulk. I've had the Hitachi Magic Wand for about 7 years and am quite happy. TRULY MAGICAL! Pros

I know that there are thousands of women out there who have never had reached climax before using one of these, but my wife was far from pleased by my recent stocking stuffer purchase. When I turned it on, she said "that's way too loud" and when it touched her sensitive areas she said "Ow!! that hurts!!" A complete lack of control in this thing really dampens the pleasure. It's like running a Mack truck over your pelvis! Pros

However, the soft rubber head feels very good on the hands when gripped like a baseball.....especially if you have arthritis. The short cord is bothersome and a variable speed control would be preferred. My old Panasonic had more ooomph but the design of this unit is easier to use. Pros
