Reveal HomeChek Breath Alcohol Test is intended to measure the alcohol level in the human breath.  Results are used in the diagnosis of alcohol intoxication.  The Reveal HomeChek Alcohol Breath Test is a semi-quantitative, rapid screening test.  Each detector contains crystals that detect a specific cut-off of BAC.  The test is based on a chemical reaction.  Alcohol reacts with the crystals in the detector to produce a color change.  The color change depends on the amount of alcohol in the breath.  If the test is positive, the amount of alcohol in the breath is greater than or equal to the cut-off level of the detector.

Step 1.  Remove detector tube from sealed pouch.

Step 2.  Hold middle of detector in hands and squeeze to break the inner glass tube.  do not crush or bend. 

Step 3.  While holding middle of tube in a horizontal direction, blow hard into mouthpiece for 12 seconds.

Step 4.  Shake the detector tube slightly to distribute crystals evenly within the test window.

Step 5.  Results may be read after 2 minutes.

Note:  Reading results after 5 minutes may show false result.
