I have a homedics paraffin spa treatment. I love this when my hands get chapped. It also is very soothing to my hands when they are sore and stiff. The warmth of the wax is a wonderful luxury.

I love my wax dipper. The pellets are nice, way better then using just a block. It's wax, nothing different, no smell.

Have bought refills for the paraffin bath before, but never had black flakes in it. From the first melt down, never had been used. Is that new??? Always had it clear.

unscented is a good thing.. If you want you could ad your own scent. I like that it comes in pebbles not a solid block.

The wax wasn't enough ~ it didn't come close to fill up the tub
I would rather have solid wax. Not sure what I'll do next.

I've had a paraffin bath for quite a while now & absolutely swear by it! The refills are getting hard to find though. Thanx Drugstore.com! My tired, old, arthritic hands thank you, too!
Someone else wrote a review that it didn't help at all but I'm curious, how long did you use it? You need to leave it on as long as possible. I wrap (over the liner) with a thick towel to hold the heat in like I was taught in physical therapy.
If heat doesn't help, try cold pack therapy.
