I bought one of these and it was very noisy, it was exchanged, no problem, the replacement became progressively noisy over 60 - 90 days that was a year ago, the noise is so loud it sounds like someone rolling dog bones in a pail. Also, the oscillator became loose and sloppy on both and would bang every time it changed direction. Don't waste your money on this one.

This purifier has been great so far! (I've only had it for a few weeks.) It's fan is not distractingly loud and I haven't been as congested upon waking, as I have been before. However the filters, especially the pre-filter, must be cleaned monthly if not sooner. Other than that, the product's description says it all. Since I don't have anything to compare its performance to, I'm only rating it 4 stars.
