Comments about Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier, Model 16200, 1 ea:

I have had this air cleaner for about 3 years now, it works really well in an average size bedroom, you get used to the noise when it is on low or med setting, high is a little too loud.
I have a cat, smoker, and room gets very dusty, when using this cleaner it catches a lot of the dust within the room, helps with litter box smells, catches smoke and makes room not stinky from smoking in a confined area like a bedroom.
I recommend this one for those in a small room on a budget, there is much better air cleaners but not for this price.
The main drawback is changing the filter every 2 months, but much of that is from the smoking, for non smokers I think it should last 4 months or more.

Comments about Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier, Model 16200, 1 ea:

I read the reviews and saw that some users' experience had been poor. I decided to give it a try anyway, because of the combination of price, dimensions, and past good experience with Honeywell products. I got the unit, plugged it in, and it was great...for three hours. Then it quit working. No worries - Drugstore.com sent me a replacement and pointed me to the website to print a label to send the defective one back on their dime. The replacement worked for five days. Worked great while it was running -- I'm in Afghanistan with the military, and there is a talc-like dust EVERYWHERE here. I noticed a big difference in a short time. But after five days, it quit. Again, Drugstore.com did all the right things -- they've already processed my refund even though I haven't yet sent the defective unit back, and again, [...].With two strikes, I gave up and ordered a different model. If you want to take your chances, you can do so knowing that Drugstore.com's return policies and processes are great. But save the packaging, because you might need it.

Comments about Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier, Model 16200, 1 ea:

I have this unit in my bedroom. I leave it running on low power and crank it up to medium with the ionizer on an hour before bedtime. At first I wasn't sure it was doing much but I haven't had to dust in over two weeks! On low power it is an excellent white noise machine and I can sleep comfortably. I have a mold problem in my apartment and I live in an area with high pollen counts nearly year round. I am allergic to everything outside as well as dust mites and this unit has made my living room quite comfortable for me. (I also use allergen covers on my mattress and pillows, which alone did not help much.) The other power settings are kind of loud so I don't use them often.

Beware!!! This thing only worked for 3 days. I'll have to deal with the manufacturer and wait weeks or months for a replacement.

Comments about Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier, Model 16200, 1 ea:

For the price, this is an excellent little air filter that has had a measurable effect on my indoor allergy symptoms. It's not too loud, and is an acceptable size for floor or desktop use. It has an ionizer function that helps keep dust out of the air, and an easy-clean foam filter in front of front grill. The replacement HEPA filter is a bit expensive -- but I've run mine 24/7 in my office for 8 or 8 months, and I haven't had to replace the filter yet. (The unit has an indicator light that comes on when the HEPA needs to be replaced.) I am purchasing a second unit for use in my bedroom. Overall, a satisfied customer.
