I am by no means overweight. I have a healthy BMI of 22. I am 5'4" and weigh roughly 115lbs. I started using this product about 3 years ago before a major vacation at which I wanted to look my best. I am naturally athletic being a gymnast most of my young life. I started off taking just 1 pill 3x's a day - which gave me very slight 'jumpiness'. It can be a bit bothersome at first but once your body adjusts after a few days - you don't even realize it at all. I took the 1 pill 3x's a day for about 3-4 days and then slowly changed it to 2 pills 3x's a day. Along with taking the pills I worked out and ate less. I probably did a full hour or more of exercise and boy, does it help! If you plan on just taking these pills and just sitting around sure you might feel dizzy and such because you aren't using them CORRECTLY. Take these about hald an hour BEFORE you plan on working out and they will have kicked in by the time you do. They rev up your work out and if you are working out properly, you get a bit winded anyway. Once you are done working out you won't feel any effects of these pills, at least I didn't because you've used their boost the way they intended. Once your body is used to these you can take them regularly without any problems. Now, I am down to just taking them maybe once or twice a day, just for energy. I only use these to maintain my weight because I do enjoy eating like a truck driver and sometimes I am too tired to work out. All in all, I really like these. My sister takes 'Redline' and that is her go to and she wouldn't switch to anything else - she is a bigger gal. So maybe if you didnt like this you will like that?

I had plateaued with the diet and exercise to lose some weight, and changing both those routines was not helpful. I was hoping that this might give me a little "boost" to get things going again. Within a few hours of taking one of these I couldn't breathe, my head was pounding, my blood pressure was really high, and I was light-headed and feeling faint. I'm not caffeine sensitive, so I'm not sure what was going on. Nonetheless, I ended up praying I wouldn't stroke out and kill someone while driving home, managed to make it home alive, and needed 20 mg of diazepam to get the blood pressure down. What a life affirming experience.
Anyway, I'll just stay on my plateau. At least it won't kill me.

The only positive comment I can say about this product is the day I threw them in the trash. They are not effective. Both me and my husband tried them and they caused severe headaches, anxiety and stomach cramps that lasted for several weeks after we stopped taking them. We only used 4 per day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, not the recommended 6 per day. Save your money!

I have returned to this product several times over the years as maintenance aide, because I have relied on it, and know it works well with my metabolism, I don't want to experiment with other products that I haven't known about "for ever" like this one.

I was doing just fine with my last bottle of Hydroxycut, and then I ordered a new bottle. I thought that the picture was different and when I got the bottle, yes, the formula was again different. Why can't they just leave things alone? This new recipe is supposed to work better, but it doesn't. Not only do I feel no energy, but I am also not loosing weight. It's a whole different thing. Hydroxycut either needs to leave the good alone, or make sure that all options, old and new are available.
I won't buy this again. Maybe I'll try the hardcore. It's pretty basic. Not the "for women' stuff either, because it's got junk in it. Us women don't need anything special.

Worked great for me! It really curbed my appetite & i noticed results within 3 weeks. Make sure to take it correctly ans consistantly. It does give you a bit of the jitters at first but that was to be expected and it didnt bother me much.

It worked great for me. Lost over 60 lbs with it. I took 2 tabs twice a day (early am and around 12-2pm) and it reduced my cravings, which is where I fall short, as well as gave me great energy without being jittery. If you are sensitive to caffeine effects, start slow to see how you do with it.

I've been taking this for 4 days now and I LOVE IT! I take 2 twice a day and I feel so energetic and it really helped curb my appetite. I didn't have any of the side effects, probably because I drink so much water. If you don't drink enough it can cause headaches, and if you don't eat it can cause stomach aches. Hydroxycut gives me energy to put in amazing workout even when I've been working all day. You can't expect to take the pill and lose weight. Its not a miracle drug, you need to eat right and workout, and these pills curb your appetite and give you energy to get fit! I love them!

This product does nothing except give me extra energy. I could NEVER take more than 1 pill a day or I would spaz out. I had problems breathing & thinking. My mind would race so fast, & I would sweat by not doing anything. I do yoga 2 times a week, lift weights and cardio 2-3 times a week. I did not lose 1 pound, but actualled gained weight!! I dont think this product does ANYTHING.
