Temporarily relieves the symptoms of the common cold.
Warnings
As with any drug, ask a doctor before use if pregnant or nursing. Consult a physician if: symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen, inflammation, fever or infection develops, symptoms are accompanied by a high fever (over 101°F), cough tends to recur or is accompanied by a high fever, rash or persistent headache.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma, smoking or emphysema; or if cough is accompanied with excessive mucus, unless directed by a licensed health care professional. In case of accidental overdose, contact a poison control center immediately.

My kids had terrible colds and for a couple days I tried the standard kids cold drugs we all see advertised on TV. Well, because they had to reformulate their ingredients, I don't think they really work any more. I was thrilled with Hyland's products in the past and gave this a go. It worked well for my 11 and 14 year old and turned the corner on that cold once and for all. Next time I will skip the national brand and go straight to this. It has gentler ingredients and is more effective, what more could I ask?

Our 2 year old coughs so hard when he has a cold he ends up throwing up. I was worried about getting anything because of all the cautions from the FDA about giving cough meds to little kids. But, thankfully, it doesn't apply to kids over 2. So we had to get something and we tried this. The first night we tried it he didn't cough at all and slept wonderfully. We were thrilled. He's much better now and doesn't cough as much! Would recommend!
