I have occasionaly itching and soreness. I was skeptical of how this would work compared to supositories or cream but it does. Put a couple under your tongue and it works. The first time I used it I probably took 3 doses during the day but I could tell symptoms were getting better as the day went by. If you have severe symptoms you might want to use this in addition to your other remedies.

I don't care if it is only a placebo effect - I still feel better after using. I drive trucks for a living and spend a lot of time sitting. Relieves the burning for a couple hours or so, long enough for me to arrive at my destination and get on my feet.

I use this product when I have flare ups. It is the ONLY product which has worked the most effectively. Works fast. Recommend it to everyone I meet who suffers from this horrible pain in the butt!

I think the previous reviewer was expecting a cure, which is not what the product advertises. It says it relieves itching and burning, which it does for several hours. It does not reduce or shrink the hemmorhoids (at least not in my experience).

As with most of these "natural" relief supplements for hemorrhoids, this clearly does not work. I get extremely painful hemorrhoids, and I have found two medications that work pretty good: Tronolane and Nupercainal. It's also helpful to use stool softners and fiber like Metamucil. These "natural" tablets are as effective as sugar tablets.
