Comments about I.C.E. Down Flexible Ice Cold Therapy Wrap, Medium, 1 ea:

I have to ice my back sometimes and was using ice packs for coolers. This is sooooo much better. The ice pack is never totally hard so it conforms to your body better. The sleeve you put the ice pack into keeps the cold off your direct skin. I wish I had boutght this. Years ago. Totally worth the money !

Good product, though a little pricey. They should offer a package deal with two gel packs and one wrap, for those of us who need to keep icing continuously, as the gel pack loses its chill and it takes a good hour to get it cold enough again. I love the wrap -- easy to use and effective.

Comments about I.C.E. Down Flexible Ice Cold Therapy Wrap, Medium, 1 ea:

Having tried a variety of ice packs, I've found this one to be the best. Materials are a high quality and seem to hold up well, including the velcro (which isn't attached to separate strips but to the pack itself, allowing for a more secure seal). The ice pack covers almost the full front and back of my knee (while others only covered the front).

I've found it worth the extra cost. Having had minor knee surgery recently, I use this pack after exercising and am finding it very helpful in reducing inflammation.

Reminds me of the quality of the ice packs at the Physical Therapist's office.

I wrap it around my knee at night. I've been on crutches for 8 weeks due to a sprained ankle. My right knee is bearing all the weight and doing all the work, so I ice it at night. After the ice pack is in the freezer all day, the ice stays cold for nearly 6 hours at night.

I needed an icepak because it was recommended to use after bunion surgery. I looked through what drugstore.com had to offer and was pleased I did't have to go running from store to store to find what I needed. The specs I found online for this product and the pictures made it easy for me to make my decision. I'm am thrilled with this product, I bought two, and was happy that I did.

I bought this product over 3 months ago and it is absolutely the best cold therapy product ever. I've been buying cold therapy products for over 12 years to use on a chronic knee problem. None of them has a wrap or a cold pack as well made or that delivers sufficient cold to last long enough.

                          I.C.E. DOWN is great!!

I.C.E. Down Flexible Ice Cold Therapy Wrap, Medium

                           – The I.C.E. DOWN Flexible Ice-Cold Therapy Wrap can be an ideal solution for various injuries and pains of the ankle, forearm, and knee. It's one of the many pioneering cold-therapy creations that the groundbreaking company I.C.E. Down has offered for decades. Be sure to have a doctor evaluate any injuries you may have and ask if cold therapy is a good choice for you.

                          Soothing Cold Therapy

Each I.C.E. DOWN Flexible Ice-Cold Therapy Wrap consists of a thoroughly padded neoprene wrap coupled with a double-walled cold pack. It’s an easy-to-use combination that fits comfortably and securely to a body part in need of a little cold-therapy TLC. The wrap itself, which properly secured remains fast both at rest and during exercise, is completely adjustable and keeps the cold pack well-insulated for maximum effectiveness. Meanwhile, the pack's non-toxic and non-staining gel formula efficiently recharges and retains its operating temperature. Its excellent portability makes it straightforward to transport in coolers.

This medium-sized I.C.E. DOWN Flexible Ice-Cold Therapy Wrap is best designed for tending to injuries and soreness in the muscles and joints of the ankles as well as smaller knees and forearms. Check your body size against the wrap's specifications to be sure you're selecting a product of appropriate dimensions.

                          An Innovative Brand

The San Diego-based I.C.E. DOWN is the brainchild of Chris Kirkman, who created the line in the 1980s after suffering from soreness and injuries related to his triathlon training. He initially invented I.C.E. DOWN cold wraps and packs for his own use, then decided to broaden his scope with a full-blown brand dedicated to relieving aches and pain. Today, Kirkman's I.C.E. DOWN wraps and packs--touted as the only cold-therapy products endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association--are sold in multiple countries outside the U.S.

The "I.C.E." in I.C.E. DOWN stands for the three pillars of cold therapy: Ice, Compression, and Elevation.

If you're troubled by certain kinds of aches and discomfort in a specific area, an I.C.E. DOWN product may be able to help alleviate some of the symptoms.
