Comments about I.C.O.N. Task Gel Wax: I tend to be a bargain shopper, but I discovered Task during a haircut and have been tough pressed to find another product in any price range that performs quite like it. The water-based formula is an intriguing blend of film forming agent, wax, oil, thickeners, lanolin, dry finish solvent, mineral sunscreen, and shimmer - with a touch of vitamins, proteins, and silicone, plus a great unisex fragrance. It easily outperforms other styling products for those of us with stubborn short hair that is prone to coarseness, cowlicks, and general disobedience, yet it still washes easily from the hair. The pump packaging is very user-friendly and eliminates the mess of scooping product with your fingers as is the case with many other pomades and pastes (plus, jar packaging renders any antioxidant-based ingredients useless as it exposes the product to air and light) - one pump is usually the perfect amount for styling, but you can easily control how much product dispenses if you need to use a little more or less for your distinct hairdo. Highly recommended; in fact, I am surprised the I.C.O.N. line has not found its way into more salons.
