1. connect the 3.5mm plug into the "headphones" jack of your device.
2. Set the FM transmitter and your stereo to the same frequency (88.5MHz-88.9MHz, 106.7MHz-107.9MHz, check package chart for details)
3. Turn on both the FM transmitter and the music player.  The music will be transmitted from the player to the FM stereo wirelessly.

Note: for best results, select a frequency that has the weakest or no signal from a nearby radio station.
