I have bone spurs in my thumbs and the pain is reduced by wearing these in the evenings. they are not tight, it's almost like someone holding your hand. I have large hands for a woman and I bought the large and they fit great. Glad I bought them.

I bought these for my husband who suffers from cold, painful hands, partially due to arthritis. They are his third pair and he says they help. I mistakenly washed them while inside a jacket pocket and they went back to the original size after becoming somewhat stretched.
