Best Uses Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I bought to use at work / on a computer all day. The bead filled cushion got in the way of trying to use the mouse. Every time I would reach for the mouse, that slight bulge of the beads would push it away from from my grip. It would have made sense if the beads lined up with your wrist, but instead it lines up with the base of my palm. So, not ideal for COMPUTER use, so I suppose I'll try wearing it when I'm not at work and see how that goes. Pros

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I have arthritis and find this brace most helpful when I am writing or doing crafts. It is a little bulky in the palm, but you get used to it. The material is high quality, and very comfortable. I wish I found this brace years ago. It is well worth the money. Pros

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I have both trigger digit thumb on one hand and DeQuervain's tendonitis in the other (from holding a book for too many hours in a row). These make it hard to type or use my hands for very long at a time. This glove (one for each hand) stabilizes the thumb and wrist, but not so much that they are unusable. Have given me a way to write my long reports which I cannot do without the braces. Pros Cons

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: Very disappointed in this product. The way it was advertised it sounded better than the one I bought for 1/2 the price in my local drug store. It had NO support at all and was a rip off for the price!

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I have severe arthritis in my right thumb. This brace straightens my thumb providing immediate pain relief. It's amazing. My only problem is that it wears out. I deliver mail and use my hands constantly. It started to wear through in less than one month. I hope they can make it someday using a more durable material. Thank God for duct tape!

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I type 12-16 hours a day and have had lots of problems with my hands, fingers and wrists. This brace is wonderful. It is comfortable and is very supportive, particularly for my wrists and thumbs and actually decreases my hand fatigue! It is a little bulky at first but I got used to them in one 12-hour shift and never type without them now. Pros

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I had constant pain in my thumb (especially the underside) and must use the computer on a daily basis. This support was just enough to make using the computer so much more comfortable. It immediately relieved the pain associated with this task! Pros

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: This product is not useful as a brace. It does not stabilize or immobilize in any way. It's like a flexible sleeve or glove with a bulky pad built in. The only use that I could think of for this product is if you want a built in pad to protect your wrist while using a computer. Pros

Comments about IMAK Reversible Thumb & Wrist Brace, Medium, 1 ea: I use these gloves every day and night. Am on my third pair. I keep them by the computer, next to my bed, and in my car. They are superb for arthritic thumbs and wrists, as well as generalized aches and pains in my hands. Displaying reviews 1-9 |
