Infertility Symptoms

Although there are no obvious symptoms of infertility, several common symptoms may be present.

Female symptoms may include:

• Chronic acne
• Heavy menstrual periods
• Increased facial and body hair
• Irregular or no menstrual periods
• Pain during menstruation or intercourse
• Pelvic pain or sensation of a mass
• Weight gain

Male symptoms may include:

• Decreased facial and body hair
• Decreased muscle mass
• Erectile dysfunction
• Osteoporosis
• Swollen or undescended testes
• Vasectomy or vasectomy reversal
