This is the equivalent of a long handled mini-flat iron as the width is only a half inch. This flat iron works best if you have curly or wavy roots and want precision smoothing. The heat options are great and can smooth any type of hair. The only drawback is that the iron doesn't indicate when the temperature selected is reached. The iron heats up very fast though. It's easy to use and is one of the best values for the price.
